For the next 30+ days, I will be eating meat, vegetables, healthy fats, fruits and nuts. I will not be eating processed food, sugar, dairy, grains or legumes, and I won’t be consuming any alcohol.
I’ve done a few Whole30 challenges before, but this time I’m looking for something a little different. I lost touch with my Paleo choices last year and I would like to reconnect with what it means to feel healthy, vibrant, and in tune with my whole self.
If you’re doing a Whole30 or other challenge, if you are living/exploring the Paleo lifestyle, or if you are simply looking for some tasty recipes to add to your repertoire, be sure to leave a comment to let me know you’re out there! I am so glad you stopped by!

Day 11 is done!
Quote of the Day: “The future depends on what you do today.” – Mahatma Gandhi
In the Whole30 Timeline it says that Days 12-15 are often filled with boundless energy and major cravings. In fact, the last two days and the next 3 or so days are the toughest of the journey. I know that I’m already having some difficulties so I will try to keep this quote in mind. Sometimes it is hard to envision how great it will feel in the end, but I have done this before and I know that it’s important to keep going. It gets easier. I will make the choices today that lead to the future I want to achieve. Because it is always a choice.
Day 11 – The Details
4:30am – Black coffee
6:15am – 2 eggs, kale, 1/2 tsp. coconut oil, 1/4 avocado, sauerkraut, 2 clementines
12:45pm – 3 meatballs with salad
2:15pm – Spiced green beans, apple, hard-boiled egg
5:15pm – Pan-fried chicken breast, cucumber/onion/avocado/green pepper salad
Food: Lunch was late and a little small so I needed to eat again. My erratic schedule means I have to do what I can when I can. Today was a better day. Just getting it done.
Mood: Good energy all day today.
Sleep: 6 1/2 hours. Once I got to sleep it felt like a good one. I have to admit, though, I’m already looking forward to bed tonight. I need a little rest!
Activity: Rest day.
Focus – Meditate Daily: Nearly thought I was too busy to breathe. But I think I need to remember that I should never be too busy for that.
